Elf

You don’t have to be a Will Ferrell fan to enjoy this relatively new Christmas classic. However, if you can’t appreciate a film about a man that was raised by elves going in search of his biological father in New York City, you may be nothing more than a cotton-headed ninny-muggins.

Released theatrically in 2003, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that this release has a nice 1:85:1 aspect ratio and a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track to match. The single-disc version has a pair of commentaries, deleted scenes, a trivia track, and a few other featurettes. Of course, you could also pop for the “Ultimate Collector’s Edition,” which includes a DVD, a Digital Copy, and several gift-worthy goodies.
