JAWS Blu-ray

On Christmas morning, we’ll be thinking about summer—and how it scares the crap out of us. You can thank this movie for that. After 37 years, that fear is still fresh and now the film is even fresher, via this new Blu-ray release. Back in 1975, this killer classic made a name for a young Steven Spielberg, with great performances by Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw. Flash forward to 2012 and it’s one of the best Blu-ray releases of the year, delivering an excellent 2.35:1 aspect ratio, an equally wonderful DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 track, and a hearty collection of extras.
