Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

This little movie bombed at the box office. However, that’s probably because it was billed as a comedy. Or maybe it’s because audiences have no interest in seeing what the world would be like with the countdown clock ticking. It’s depressing, but has a few light moments, thanks to leads Steve Carell and Keira Knightley, as well as appearances by Rob Corddry, Patton Oswalt, Connie Britton, and Derek Luke.

The 2-disc set includes a 2.35:1 image, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track, a standard-def DVD and an UltraViolet Digital Copy. The End of the World extras appear as if someone ran out of time or something, with just two incredibly short shorts and an audio commentary.
