I, Robot 3D

Four years after releasing Will Smith’s sci-fi adventure on Blu-ray, Fox is coming back with a 3D version of the film. It should be a pretty trippy viewing experience, given the futuristic setting. The year is 2035, where you’ll see robots living and working among us—maybe murdering, too. Bridget Moynahan and Alan Tudyk (again!) also star.

Despite being a new 3D release, Fox has not given the 3D disc it’s own Blu-ray. Instead, both the 2D and 3D versions are squished onto one disc, with the second in the set being a standard-def version of the movie. Besides the 1.78:1 image and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track, all of the extras have been picked up from the DVD and include an audio commentary and a short on the making of the movie.

Rating: PG-13
Runtime: 115 minutes
Total Number of Discs: 2
Studio: Fox
