The Raven

Director James McTeigue has taken a few liberties with Edgar Allan Poe’s life and his work, in this 2012 thriller. John Cusack puts a goth twist on Poe, who is called upon to help police solve a series of murders based on the real-life writer’s works.

Expect this dark film to have a dark palette, with a 2.40:1 transfer and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. The 2-disc set also includes deleted and extended scenes, several featurettes on Poe, audio commentary, a piece on the music, and more.
