Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection

Start prepping for Halloween with this massive monster mash-up. This 8-disc collection has all of the horror classics: Dracula, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, Bride of Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, Phantom of the Opera, and Creature from the Black Lagoon (in 3D!).

Each of the eight flicks has been restored and is packed up with a 48-page booklet that has behind-the-scenes photographs, original posters, and other tidbits. Each film also has its own set of extras, including commentary tracks, trailers, and a surprising number of other featurettes. One standout is the short “Dracula: The Restoration,” which covers that process. It’s quite the awesome collection for fans of classic horror.
