Bond. James Bond. Every James Bond. To commemorate Bond’s 50th birthday (and pump crowds up for the November release of Skyfall), this 23-disc collection compiles all of Bond’s theatrical adventures into one massive box set. It starts at Dr. No, ends with Quantum of Solace, and has every Bond, babe, gadget and villain in between.
Besides the 22 films, this set promises over 122 hours of bonus features. Each movie will have its own set of special features, with one extra disc devoted to Skyfall highlights and two all-new documentaries. “The World of Bond” dissects everything from the cars, supporting characters and the music, while “Being Bond” puts a spotlight on the six actors that have filled out Bond’s tux. As far as audio and video specs, each film has at least a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track. There’s no word on aspect ratios, but it’s pretty safe to assume that those specs will vary by title.
