Resistance is futile! Paramount and CBS have spent years putting together this Blu-ray set, which includes all 26 episodes of the syndicated show’s first season. It was here that audiences were introduced to classic sci-fi characters, such as Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), Commander William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton), Lt. Commander Data (Brent Spiner), Lieutenant Worf (Michael Dorn), Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton), and much more.
This release has a 1.33:1 aspect ratio, but the image has been retransferred to produce a gorgeous 6-disc set. Other features include an awesome 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track and extras on every disc. Some of those special features include promos, a gag reel, the three-part documentary “Stardate Revisited: The Origin of Star Trek: The Next Generation,” and much more.
