Chariots of Fire

To get you pumped for the Olympics, Warner Bros. has raced this Oscar winner to the Blu-ray format. The story of two British track stars (Ben Cross and Ian Charleson) and their Olympic dreams is a riveting one, even at a lengthy 124 minutes

The award-winning film certainly has an impressive set, with a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track for that famous score. Film fans will also appreciate the decent selection of extras, such as deleted scenes, commentary, and a multi-part peek at “Behind the Story.” The release is also packed up in a nice digibook, which also includes a CD sampler.

Rating: PG
Runtime: 124 minutes
