More surprising than the whole Joyful Noise thing is that someone thought New Year’s Eve would make a good movie. Valentine’s Day didn’t exactly set anyone’s heart aflutter, but it made enough cash to cause this spin-off flick. None of the characters are the same, but Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel and Héctor Elizondo came back for more. New famous faces include Halle Berry, Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Katherine Heigl, Zac Efron, and Hilary Swank.
The single-disc Blu-ray features a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and a DTS-HD Master Audio track. The extras are slim and short, with the exception of deleted scenes, which are the bulk of the special features. The disc also has a standard-def version on the flipside and comes packing an UltraViolet Digital Copy.
Rating: PG-13
