In the basement is Dr. Karas’ guitar collection and a surround-sound entertainment system starring a 46-inch Samsung TV. Retrofitting existing systems to a new control system can be tricky, and in this case electronics installer Link Your House connected the family’s Onkyo receiver to the Elan g! system using infrared controllers because the receiver did not have a serial connection.
