Nicolas Cage’s hair is probably the most frightening thing about this 2011 action flick. That said, it has horror overtones with Cage as an escapee from Hell that’s bent on revenge. It’s not a horror flick in the traditional sense, but it will leave you squeamish—and not just because of the guilt over sitting through the film’s 105-minute runtime. The film has some excellent effects, using guts and a whole lot of stylish violence to display its 3D glory.
