Meridian | DSP7200
British-based Meridian is one of the leaders in digital audio and video technologies, and its DSP7200 Digital Active Loudspeaker features technologies used in the flagship DSP8000 speaker. The DSP7200 can be used in the company’s range of home theater and Sooloos two-channel audio systems. The 3.5 - way speaker utilizes two 200-mm bass drivers, one 160-mm midrange driver and a 25-mm aluminum dome tweeter. The speaker incorporates FIFO memory buffer input that reduces jitter, along with analog gain and filtering circuits with proprietary Class A discrete amplification, 4x24-bit 128x oversampling DACs and 150-watt amplifiers on each driver.
