Guilty pleasure alert! A divisive comedy to be sure, you really have to be in the right mind set for this movie to work its magic on you. Your best bet? Watch it late at night with a bunch of friends and have an adequate supply of, err, liquid refreshment at the ready. Only then can you truly appreciate James Franco and Danny McBride questing to rescue a virgin princess from a ruthless wizard who means to mate with her and birth a dragon. You know, as per the the prophecy. And all that. Aiding the brothers in their quest is a bold and beautiful warrior woman (Natalie Portman), a wise (albeit perverted) old wizard, and, of course, a mechanical bird. If this sounds at all appealing, give it a spin - you won’t regret it. Or maybe you will. It’s hard to say.
