This one is certainly not for kids of all ages. That PG-13 rating is there for a reason. Still, your tween should be able to appreciate the biggest movie of all time. Themes of sex and violence aren’t too bad in the movie, but they are there. Also, you might want to skip some of the deleted scenes if wee ones are present. They probably won’t care much, since the film’s original 162-minute runtime should be plenty. If you think the age of your audience limits your Avatar viewing possibilities, your gear might also introduce a slight snag, since the Avatar Blu-ray 3D is a Panasonic exclusive until 2012.

Rating: PG
