DynaQuip Controls WaterCop Systems

MSRP: Priced Per System

The WaterCop family of products offer automatic emergency water shut-off systems consisting of an automatic valve and a network of remote sensors. The sensor network uses water sensors and temperature sensors to actively monitor leak prone areas within homes and notify the automatic valve when moisture is detected.
WaterCop systems install on the main water supply line near where it enters the home and will turn off the water when activated. WaterCop systems can be activated by its sensor network, remote soft touch switch, PRO Monitoring Station, or most security or home automation systems via an auxiliary input/output contact. A Remote Switch (RS100) or PRO Monitoring Station makes it possible to control the water supply at the touch of a conveniently located wall switch, while Z-Wave systems allow control of the water supply via phone or internet when used with a Z-Wave gateway.
In most cases, installation of a WaterCop system can help avoid the chances of catastrophic water damage at a fraction of the cost of most insurance deductibles. Installation of a WaterCop system as a complementary component to a home security system may even qualify homeowners for insurance premium discounts by lowering household risk associated with accidental plumbing failures.

Company Info

Over 1 million homes in the United States experience extensive water damage each year. Homes are destroyed and lives overturned. Valuable collectibles and personal items are forever ruined. Did you know that many of these catastrophes could have been prevented by upgrading a simple water valve?

The WaterCop System is a patented automatic whole-house water shut-off system. It is designed to automate the control of residential or commercial plumbing systems in the event of failed appliances and leaking fixtures.  Logically placed water sensors detect flooding and send a closure signal to the WaterCop valve located on the water main, closing the flow of water. Stopping leaks when first detected effectively reduces water damage and significant loss of property. The system can keep a little leak from turning into a destructive indoor lake. WaterCop network of water sensors are placed in the most common leak-prone areas of a home. WaterCop sensors constantly monitor these areas for water leaks around the clock.

Since its introduction in 2001, the WaterCop family of product has continued to grow. Our most recent addition is the WaterCopZwave system, compatible with Z-wave technology, it allows remote control of a home’s main water supply via phone or internet when used with any Z-wave gateway. It’s perfect for homeowners who want peace of mind and the ability to shut off water in homes or businesses from nearly anywhere using Z-wave protocol. With this new addition, WaterCop now proudly offers a total of seven unique systems to suit almost any homeowner’s needs; WaterCop Z-Wave, WaterCop Classic, WaterCopPro, WaterCopPRO Outdoor, WaterCop LeakStop, and WaterCop LeakStopPLUS.

WaterCop is manufactured by DynaQuip Controls, a proven leader in valve automation.  Now entering our sixth decade DynaQuip Controls continues its long standing commitment to designing and manufacturing superior products and providing outstanding personal service.
