URC TRF-ZW1 Total Control Z-Wave® Extender
Small on size but huge on connectivity capabilities, URC’s TRF-ZW1 Z-Wave® extender is the ideal gateway to control countless popular Z-Wave-enabled products. As a seamless part of URC’s Total Control® whole house automation line, the TRF-ZW1 Z-Wave® extender opens up Total Control to the broadly appealing world of integration with countless Z-Wave® enabled products. It provides a gateway for two-way control of two-way enabled Z-Wave door locks, lighting and more such as Yale, Baldwin, Kwikset, Schlage, Cooper, Leviton and GE and many other Z-Wave pieces. It’s a valuable, simple add-on for consumers who are purchasing a whole-house control system. And because it’s a Total Control device, the TRF-ZW1 easily connects to the MRX-10 — the “brains” of the Total Control system” and will plug-and-play with any of URC’s Total Control remotes, keypads and touchscreens. Thanks to an online service, users can enjoy advanced features including password-protected setup, secure access and control of each Z-wave device from a computer or their iDevices like an iPad® or iPhone® from anywhere — inside or outside the home. So, by using the smart devices they’re already used to, customers can check on things, adjust them from afar, receive email and SMS text notifications when actions occur such as when the kids arrive home and open a door, or a spouse pulls their car into the garage. Also, users can view activity history of Z-Wave system products. And, with the URC “macro integration” feature, homeowners can enter a user code into a Z-Wave door lock and based on that personalized code, have the system’s controller set the house the way that homeowner prefers it. With Total Control and the Z-Wave Extender, users have the ultimate in secure access, control and convenience.
