The Savant Select touch interface is an optimized theme version of the Savant TrueControl App. Savant Select delivers a simple, immersive and familiar consumer experience with the perfect balance of pushbuttons and touch interface providing intuitive, tactile navigation. The depth of the two-way communication provided includes audio and video, media, lighting, security, network cameras, climate control, gate access and more. The revolutionary Savant Select offers customers the best user experience with the most exciting control options of any smart remote in the industry. Based on reliable and robust WiFi communication, the Savant Select provides simple source control in any room (via hard buttons) to complete two-way home control and automation of everything from intelligent lighting, home theater or media room, whole-house audio and media, security, network cameras, climate - any home appliance connected to a Savant Smart System (via Savant's TrueControl - automation App for Apple iOS devices). The powerful device also allows for complete navigation, either with the hard-buttons or within iPod touch TrueControl App, of Savant's award-winning On-TV menu control system TrueCommand. This intelligent remote sequences the hard buttons to follow the active media sources in use for a particular room providing keypad volume and media selection options. All hard buttons are completely customized (via common configuration software Blueprint) to perform any custom action of clients. For instance, upon waking-up, a consumer could press and hold down a particular configured hard button to open the shades, turn on specific lighting and play pre-selected media in the bedroom. With Apple's native Mulit-Task feature on all their latest iOS devices, users can multi--task between the Savant Select TrueControl App and other Apps running on the integrated iPod touch. To further enhance the user experience the Savant Select offers users the option to set "don't sleep" and "screen saver" mode for the iPod touch and provides motion detector, wake-up power management.
