URC MXW-920 Water-Resistant Remote Control

The MXW-920 is URC’s first water-resistant remote control. URC performed extensive testing of the MXW-920’s water-resistant capabilities; the final result was a water resistance rating of JIS Class 4, IP-class 54, which means that splashing water from any direction will have no effect on the MX-920. The MX-920 can also withstand dust deposits. The MXW-920 features a monochrome LCD that displays text. A one-way RF remote control, the MXW-920 is powered by four AAA alkaline batteries.

Almost all remote controls available from manufacturers of universal remotes, as well as component manufacturers, are not meant to get wet.
