The M700 Disc Vault is a clean sheet design, engineered from the ground up to meet Kaleidescape’s exacting standards for performance, ease-of-use, and reliability. It employs high-precision stepper motors to provide smooth and accurate operation, and was designed for industrial workloads to ensure years of trouble-free operation. The Kaleidescape M700 Disc Vault is the only product a customer can use to copy a large number of Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, and CDs to his movie server without any user intervention. Simply insert up to 320 discs and walk away. Most Blu-ray Discs load in just 60 minutes, and the entire process can be monitored from the interactive front panel. A tilt sensor detects when the M700 Disc Vault is tipped past an unsafe angle and automatically shuts down the component until it is safe to resume operation. This is particularly valuable in marine installations. A retention clam shell secures discs inside the M700 Disc Vault allowing it to be transported with discs inside. This gives dealers flexibility on where to load content, and makes it more convenient for customers to relocate the product.
