The URC DMS-1200 Multi-Zone Network Amplifier provides audio with zero added compression to up to eight zones, and is expandable to up to 32 zones. The system can also be expanded using URC’s DMS-100 supplemental “add-a-room” single-zone amplifier. The inputs on the DMS-1200 can stream audio to other DMS amps over the home network using one network-connected Ethernet cable. Each DMS-1200 amplifier delivers 50 watts per channel for zones 1 through 6, and preamps for zones 7 and 8. The DMS-1200 also offers four analog-to-digital inputs that enable your installer to plug in any combination of legacy analog sources with standard audio cables. Via the URC SNP-1 streaming network player, the DMS-1200 supports streaming music subscription services such as Rhapsody, Pandora and Sirius/XM, as well as Internet radio. Via the URC PSX-2 personal music server, the DMS-1200 can deliver iPhone/iPod audio to any zone. The DMS-1200 employs advanced network streaming media capabilities using lossless data compression technology to ensure that the original aural integrity of all source material is maintained in each and every zone.
