The new Phase Technology® CI820 is the company’s first UL-listed (pending) speaker with an integrated metal backcan. This 8”, two-way coaxial, ported in-ceiling speaker provides outstanding bass response, superb midrange clarity and highs that sound great even off-axis. It includes a polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 1” silk dome tweeter.  A tuned port on the baffle provides added musicality and bass response down to 55 Hz (-10 dB). With an input impedance of 16 ohms, four speakers may be run in parallel at 4 ohms.  The speaker’s wide dispersion ring technology, a Phase Technology exclusive, provides extended mid- and high-frequency coverage that ensures clear, smooth response even when listening far off-axis.  Mounting hardware is included and features a rapid two-screw installation system using SpeedWing™ technology which ensures a secure fit in any application. The CI820 is available with a white (paintable) finish. Other products in this family include the six-inch CI620 and five-inch CI520.
