GTL Sound Labs Audio Excellence AE 963

The GTL Sound Labs AE963 is by far the very best ABS in-wall available.  These speakers were tested in an independent blind speakers test in June 2006, to rave reviews. Truly hearing is believing. No matter what kind of music you like, these speakers will meet your expectations. Each speaker has a 9” woven carbon fiber woofer with 2” voice coil, 40oz vented magnet & butyl rubber surrounds. This material provides twice the acoustical performance of Kevlar. The woven carbon allows the woofer to self vent and results in dynamic bass response, superb midrange, excellent thermal boundaries and extremely natural top end roll off.  The 5.25” poly paper midrange speaker host a 1.5”  voice coil,  25oz vented magnet with rubber surrounds and are one of the finest available. The mid host our newly patented resounding chamber technology which delivers the ultimate in midrange imagery and clarity. The 3” titanium silk dome tweeter has a 1” voice coil & 12.7 oz magnet, which has special lens assembly providing excellent dispersion characteristics, and this provides unmatched high frequency clarity. We used lamb’s wool and polyester damping and gasket sealed all of this in a heavy gauge back case. The speaker mounts to the wall with 6 Phillips screws that secure to the wall with very heavy wall anchors. These are truly the very finest ABS in walls and far exceed the sound quality of 95% of all other floor, bookshelf or in wall speakers.Install where only the best will do!
