Dining Room

A Crestron 8-inch touchpanel commands the LED lights (including 500 exterior LED landscape lights), thermostats, A/V gear and more in this Net Zero house in California. The homeowner designed a device to dim the LEDs, and worked with custom electronics firm VIA on the implementation of a Crestron automation system to further enhance the programming and energy efficiency of the home. Dimming capability, plus the numerous lighting “scenes” created by VIA resulted in LEDs that consume less energy than a hair dryer and accentuate the architecture and design of the house.
