Big Things in Small Packages

The room dimensions of this home theater may not be large (15.7 x 15 feet), but the home theater pros at Gramophone, Timonium, Md., were able to pack in some big A/V, including a Digital Projection dVision Scope 1080p projector and 115-inch Stewart Filmscreen screen that stretches wall to wall. The projector, in particular, was an ideal choice for the smallish space, as its adjustable features and short throw ratio allowed the Gramophone team to blow up the image across the entire screen without having to place the projector too far away from the screen. Reference-grade McIntosh components, including a preamp/processor, amplifier and tuner, ensure top-notch audio quality from everything from Blu-ray Discs to SACD discs. The audio quality stays on par all the way to the speakers and into the room, thanks to the incorporation of high-end Bowers & Wilkins Nautilus speakers. Simple, intuitive, one-touch control of the entire A/V arrangement is handled by a single 8.4-inch Crestron WiFi touchpanel.
