This theater was built with 100% recylced metal studs and 100% recycled wood and an 7 year old projector that was repaired to like new condition. I transformed a complete open space in my basement to a play room for my two little girls and a dedicated theater right next to it. I did alot of the work myself and with the help of a few of my close friends. Nothing to fancy but it turned out awsome. It has an Onkyo surround sound system, Blue Ray player with internet acces for Netflicks, Cinema Now and Pandora, Apple Tv with a over 700 movie library and a HD cable box. The projector is a Infocus ScreenPlay5700 which in its day was one of the top line projectors and I can see why, the picture is outstanding!! The theater also features two custom marquee signs from http://www.hollywoodmarquees.com. The seating consist of 4 front row black recliners with cup holders, a six inch raised rear platform with a 92 inch black sofa and a rear grantie top bar with four stools. It also features, a popcorn machine, glass snack cabinet, beverage center complete with beer/soda cooler and wine cooler. Allthough it took over a year to collect all the starting materials and the money to keep it going it was well worth it in the end. Here are a few photos for you to enjoy..let me know your thoughts ;).
