Q: Does my Sony Blu-ray DVD player have to be close to the TV
that you mount on the wall? Is there any way to wire it where the DVD player is
across the room so as not to stick out from the wall?

A: There are wireless transmission devices from companies like IOGEAR and Gefen that allow you to locate a source component (cable box, satellite box, Blu-ray player, Apple TV, gaming systems) in locations outside of the typical A/V cabinet or shelf.

Atlona Technologies will soon release its new product. It is wireless HD system that allows you to transmit signal from any HDMI source for up to 40ft. With an additional transmitters it can transmit up to 5 HDMI sources. Look up for AT-LINKCASTAV at bzbexpress.com
