Have a dilemma. I have a great room setup as a home theater. Sony 52” XBR4,
Onkoyo SR606 receiver, Yamaha 5.1 surround sound speakers, xbox 360, ps3. My
dilema is I also have a bonus room that I was going to put a tv in with a
sound bar, for gaming, sports, ect. Have about $1000 to spend on tv, already
have a sound bar. So my question is should I spend the money on upgrades in
the great room or get a tv for the bonus? Beating my head on this, need
help. Thanks for the help in advance.

None of your current gear is so old that you really need an upgrade (unless you want 3D, but you won’t find many 3D TVs in that budget).  I’d keep the setup in the great room and opt for a new TV in the bonus room. A person can never have too many TVs. For your $1,000 budget you’ll get more TV from a plasma than an LED and probably also find one with streaming media options. $1000 will get a nice 50-inch from Panasonic or Samsung.

You already have got all the latest system with your TV. However, if you want to upgrade it, the only option which is left is to with 3D TV.
