Beginning Lighting Control with iPad

JT asks:

I have an iPad 1 64gb Wifi. I want to start to automate my home and figured
I would start with light switches. Can you recommend an app and or some
switches that work with an apple app? I am handy and perhaps only semi

I’d look into Lutron’s RadioRA system (link here) . The nice thing about this system is that it can be expanded to cover your whole house as well as things like shades.

You can also check out some insteon plug-in devices here that can be app controlled. You’ll find some of that here.
