These days, more 4K content is streaming than ever before. However, Sony 4K TV owners are getting a few extra bonuses. The company recently debuted new 4K resolution content, with some of those offerings being exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation Video service (which used to go by the name of Video Unlimited).
One of those perks is Powers, PlayStation’s first-ever scripted original series. From the minds of Breaking Bad, the show focuses on homicide detectives Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, who are assigned to check out cases that involve people with superpowers, referred to as simply “Powers.” However, instead of saving the world, most of these people are using their powers for evil—or at least mischief, mayhem, murder, and even endorsement deals. That’s where the Powers Division (and the action) comes in.
Powers is exclusive to Sony PlayStation Video. The service currently has over 300 titles available for streaming in 4K, including the AMC hit Better Call Saul.
One thing that’s not exclusive to Sony owners is UltraFlix. However, Sony just added this 4K streaming service to its lineup of 2014 4K TVs, with the promise that 2015 4K TVs would get the access soon. Why is that a good thing? Because the service has about 300 hours of 4K movies, TV shows, concerts, and more—including Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. Besides allowing you to watch Matthew McConaughy float through space in 4K, this movie has all sorts of trippy imagery that was made for 4K resolution viewing.
PlayStation Video is currently available on select Sony smart TVs, as well as through the FMP-X10 4K Media Server ($699.99). For more information about Sony 4K TVs, check out the Sony website.

Ultraflix is pretty sweet. Watched Interstellar on it last weekend. I tell you what, turn the lights down and get your popcorn, it looked absolutely amazing. Hopefully they get more of the new movies so I don’t have to go the movie theater anymore.
