Rain Bird Sprinkles Automation Into Your Yard for Under $199

The new Easy to Install In-Ground Automatic Sprinkler System can be installed in one afternoon.

It’s getting warmer and soon your lawn will be practically crying for a little water. Instead of dragging your sweaty body outside, you can automate the process — and quite easily, too.

Rain Bird just announced the Easy to Install In-Ground Automatic Sprinkler System. That lengthy title isn’t just a product name, but it’s also a promise. Rain Bird says that this system can be installed in just one afternoon. That’s because it’s easy and you don’t have to tap into any underground water lines.

It’s also very affordable, with the kit selling for less than $199. For that price, you will get everything needed to water up to 3,000 square feet. That includes distribution tubing, fittings and six professional grade, high-efficiency, pop-up rotary sprinklers. All you need to supply is an outdoor hose faucet.

Once connected, Rain Bird’s patented Rain Curtain nozzle technology can disperse water evenly, saving time, water and money. Other features include an automatic timer with a large display, “Water Now” and “Rain Delay” settings, and programming options for days of the week, up to two times a day.

“We are excited to bring this easy-to-install, affordable and effective automatic sprinkler system to homeowners,” says Ray Peppiatt, Rain Bird’s marketing manager. “This new system offers do-it-yourselfers a more efficient, automatic way to achieve a beautiful, green lawn without having to drag out a hose or remember to move a sprinkler around. Now they can spend the weekend enjoying their yard instead of worrying about watering it.”

The Rain Bird Easy to Install In-Ground Automatic Sprinkler System is available now at major home improvement centers, hardware stores and online retailers.
