Linear Plans New Control and Security Products

The company will be touting the "Internet-of-Things" at next week's ISC West.

The Linear GD00Z-1 is compatible with Lowe's Iris system.

Typically when a company comes to a tradeshow, they have one — maybe two — new products, as well as plenty of old standbys. However, Linear is packing up sorts of new goodies for next week’s ISC West.

The company plans to demo new home control and security solutions at the tradeshow, which runs from April 2-4 in Las Vegas. Promising a little something from the smart home and “Internet-of-Things” categories, the company isn’t giving away too much at this point.

We do know that there will be demos for the Linear GD00Z-1 Z-Wave Garage Door Controller, the latest iteration of 2GIG’s Go!Control Panel known as the “GC3″, and Linear’s Enterprise embedded network appliance and access control system.

The company will also be showing off the new e3 OneBox, a single product that combines Linear’s embedded browser IP-based access control platform with Digital Watchdog’s full feature DW-VMAX digital video recording capabilities.

Besides the new product offerings, the company is hoping to better educate its dealers on home automation and Z-Wave.

If you’re out at the show next week, Linear will be located in booth 20053.
