Crestron Powers New 2-button Wireless Keypad via Batteries

Available in black or white, the portable HTT-B2EX-BATT can provide simple control.

We’ve seen a lot of fancy-schmancy controllers for the home. Now, Crestron is offering something much simpler. In fact, it’s so simple that it doesn’t require cables or charging. Instead, the new 2-Button Wireless Keypad operates on good, old battery power.

As part of Crestron’s infiNET EX line, the new keypad (also known as HTT-B2EX-BATT) can control lights or shades. It’s battery-powered and portable, which makes it easy to put control by the bed, in the office, or just about anywhere else.

The HTT-B2EX-BATT uses Crestron’s infiNET EX 2.4GHz mesh network technology and is small enough to fit in your hand. Besides being able to turn lights on and off, it can open and close shades. There are also “Good Morning” or “Good Night” presets for one-touch control of several different room features at once.

Designed to work with a Crestron control system, the HTT-B2EX-BATT uses two lithium coin cell batteries. It’s available now in your choice of black or white. Contact your local Crestron dealer for more information and pricing.
