We’ve told you about tapping into garage door control from your smartphone using products by Chamberlain. Now the company is adding a video doorbell into the smart home mix.

At last week’s CES 2015, the company was showing off the Chamberlain Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener with MyQ Smartphone Control, a WiFi-enabled garage door opener that you can access through your smartphone. Available this spring, the new option uses the company’s MyQ technology to deliver a peek at whether or not the garage is open—and lets you open or close it from anywhere in the world.

However, the follow-up to that will be the Chamberlain Notifi, a completely different product for the company, which brings Chamberlain garage door tech to the front door. The Notifi is a video door chime that combines motion detection, lights, a door chime, notification and communication into one super-cool product.

“Chamberlain has developed the highest quality garage door openers for more than 40 years and we’ve extended our technology to the connected space, where consumers expect the same safety and quality,” said Cory Sorice, vice president of marketing for connected products and eCommerce at Chamberlain. “MyQ has become the preeminent connected way to manage coming and going moments for the home, working with the top smart-home providers in the industry. We’re innovating new connected products that incorporate video, lights, notifications and better awareness for consumers. It’s going to be an exciting year for Chamberlain, our partners and our customers.”

There’s no word on when either product will ship—and for what price. However, Chamberlain has said that the company’s connected lineup will include support for Apple HomeKit, so you can monitor your MyQ garage door and slew of other devices from anywhere using an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
