VIZIO has something big brewing. The company just introduced a brand-new 80-inch Razor LED Smart TV with Theater 3D. It’s available for purchase now.
According to VIZIO, this is the company’s largest HDTV to date. Of course, there are others making them bigger — but certainly not cheaper. The MSRP on this set is a mere $3,999.99.
Designed to deliver bang for your budgeting buck, this set includes pretty much everything that you’d want in a newer HDTV. It has an extra-large, full 1080p HD image, as well as built-in WiFi for tapping into VIZIO Internet Apps Plus. The latter is VIZIO’s web-based platform, which provides instant access to services such as Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, M-GO, VUDU, HuluPlus, YouTube, Pandora and Facebook.
Other features include Smart Dimming technology, a 240Hz refresh rate with Smooth Motion, and Theater 3D, which is VIZIO’s brand of passive 3D technology. The company also includes four pairs of 3D glasses with this purchase for viewing those effects right out of the box.
This set (which also goes by the model number M801d-A3) can be the cornerstone of any home theater, with four HDMI ports and two USB ports for hooking up a 3D Blu-ray player, a receiver, and much more.
As part of the company’s M-Series, this 80-incher is pretty slick looking, with a modern, super-thin bezel. It also comes packing a backlit remote, so you won’t be fumbling during those late-night viewing sessions. Starting this summer, that same remote will include WiFi and universal remote features, so you can navigate and switch between control devices.
VIZIO is selling the 80-inch Razor LED Smart TV with Theater 3D now, with an MSRP of $3,999.99.
