Other features include the company’s Contrast Enhancer that analyzes scenes in real time and optimizes dynamic range in each area of the image to produce deep blacks and bright whites, as well as Sony’s MotionFlow technology which inserts additional images in between each original video frame to produce smoother and sharper motion with less blur. In addition, the HPL-HW40ES includes a built-in IR 3D transmitter that automatically detects 3D content and a cooling system that operates with just 21dB of noise to ensure that low-level dialog is not obscured by fan hum.
