It’s hard to imagine ever thinking of SIM2 as “square.” However, the company’s latest is just that — and it’s an absolute piece of art.
SIM2 just announced the Crystal Cube. This new projector is the perfect blend of style and technology. The DLP projector promises 2D and 3D images, a full 1080p HD image, and a Texas Instruments chipset. Of course, it’s also really unique looking, given that it’s a pure glass clad cube!
That chassis doesn’t just look cool, though. It’s also resistant to light and high/low temperatures. Other features include a lens throw ratio of 1.38-2.05:1, a picture size of 50 to 180 inches diagonal, 2,700 ANSI lumens (in 2D), two HDMI inputs, and more.
“Introduced in New York during the Big Apple stop of our World Road Show, this model wowed attendees, who came from all over the U.S.,” said Maurizio Cini, CEO and president of SIM2. “SIM2 is determined to become the go-to projector company for the US market. We are now able to cover any type of installation, providing not only cutting edge performance but defining new trends in video display technology.”
SIM2 will start selling the Crystal Cube by the end of October. It comes packed with a four pairs of SIM2 3D Visus Active Glasses and the 3D emitter. Available in black or white with optional matching color brackets, the Crystal Cube has a starting price of $5,000.
