Epson 5025UB Home Theater Projector Priced Under $2K

The new PowerLite Home Cinema 5025UB promises 2D/3D 1080p, 2,200 lumens, and more.

Having the best home theater projector is no longer a huge financial endeavor. Epson is making home theater extremely affordable, with its new PowerLite Home Cinema 5025UB projector.

The 5025UB is a 3LCD, 3-chip projector that can deliver Full HD 1080p images. It has five color modes for 2D content, with three for 3D.

Boasting 2,200 lumens of color brightness and 2,200 lumens of white brightness, the 5025UB can deliver up to a 600,000:1 contrast ratio. Other image features include Super-resolution technology with Detail Enhancement for a sharp image, a 2.1x zoom, and options for a vertical and horizontal lens shift range. It even has two HDMI ports.

Epson is selling the PowerLite Home Cinema 5025UB now, with an MSRP of $1,999. That price tag includes access to Epson’s PrivateLine priority technical support, a 90-day limited lamp warranty and free two-business day exchange with the Extra Care Home Service.
