Elite Screens, a popular manufacturer of home theater screens for both custom home theater installations and DIY home theater projects, launched its PowerMax Sonic screen, designed for professionally-installed home theater and multipurpose media rooms.

Elite Prime Vision explains that in today’s multipurpose room environments, versatility is a key component of any new product. Its PowerMax Sonic provides dealers with a tab-tensioned solution that can display UltraHD 4K content without artifacts.

The PowerMax Sonic incorporates a 95-watt/220-volt tubular motor that is capable of 14rpm with a lift capacity of 4.4 foot pounds and an acoustically transparent Sonic White screen material with an 0.9 gain. The screen’s acoustically transparent properties deliver an -2.3dB average insertion loss. It also incorporate full IR/RF controls, a three-way Ethernet wall switch and a 12-volt trigger to activate the unit.
The PowerMax Sonic screen’s starting MSRP is $1,828. It will be offered first in a choice of either a 100- or 120-inch 16:9 aspect ratio solution with an extra 12-inch top-drop border.
