The Olive O6HD HD Music Server for audiophiles.

Olive really wants you to check out one of their music servers. In fact, they are trying to lure customers with a little freebie. For a limited time, the company says it will throw in a free iPod touch or iPad with the purchase of any Olive HD Music Server.

Now, it’s not that you should need any type of incentive. These are some very popular, highly rated products. That said, does anyone hate freebies? Choose from one of the three types of servers available:

The O3HD is Olive’s entry-level server, which can store 1,500 CDs or 5,000 HD tracks on its 500GB hard drive. Other features include a built-in TEAC drive, a USB port, and a 192khz/24-big Cirrus Logic DAC. Pay the $999 MSRP for this one, and you’ll score a free 8GB iPod touch.

In the middle of the line is the Olive O4HD. At $2,499, this one comes with a free iPad 2. It also comes with a 2TB hard drive that can hold 6,000 CDs or 20,000 HD tracks, a Burr-Brown PCM1792A DAC (24-bit/192 kHz), WiFi support, and a wide range of inputs and outputs.

The last model eligible for this offer is the Olive O6HD (pictured). It has a $4,999 MSRP, but comes with one of the new 32GB iPads. This one also has the 2TB hard drive, two PCM1792A DACs (24-bit/192 kHz), a 10.1-inch touchscreen, plenty of inputs, and more.

To get the free iPod or iPad, you’ll need to order the Olive server by phone. Call 877-296-5483 and make sure to mention the bundle deal. However, you’d better do it soon.
