Best of the Rest: Smart Homes $50,000 or Less

After the smoke has cleared from our Home of the Year awards, we are left with a ton of noteworthy installs.

Each year, Electronic House announces its annual picks for Home of the Year. This year, we found a slew of smart homes to cover nine different categories. In each of those sections, three places that anyone would love to call “home” were selected and given gold, silver and bronze status.

Of course, the ones in our winners’ circle aren’t the only drool-worthy homes on the planet. There are so many other super-cool, high-tech electronic houses out there.

The best home theater system is the one you plan with help from the experts. Get premium advice for FREE in our expert guide, Planning the Best Home Theater System: Choosing the Best Home Theater Projector, Best Home Theater Speakers, Best Home Theater Receiver, Best Home Theater Screens & More.

We went through this year’s entries and came up with a “Best of the Rest” list. Specifically, here are some of our favorites from the Home of the Year category, $50,000 or less. It includes a beach house, a loft, and a few other awesome installs.
