D-Link has introduced all sorts of camera options under the mydlink line. However, what do you do with all of those video feeds? This is where the mydlink Camera Video Recorder may come in handy.
The newly announced product, which also goes by the name DNR-202L, is a USB IP camera video recorder that allows you to easily setup, record and manage video footage from D-Link’s mydlink-enabled cameras.
Having this component in the mix makes for a nice surveillance solution. It allows you to have simultaneous recording and real-time playback for up to four mydlink-enabled cameras, as well as motion detection and triggered recording capabilities.
The Camera Video Recorder also adds up to 8GB of external storage. However, it has two USB ports, in case you want to add more. It also has support for the mydlink portal or mobile app, which offers local and remote access with no monthly fees.
“Our new Camera Video Recorder offers a convenient, reliable and affordable camera recording solution, enabling users to remotely view, record, and control their mydlink-enabled cameras from anytime, anywhere,” said Daniel Kelley, vice president of marketing at D-Link Systems, Inc. “From checking on your home when you are travelling to more serious incidents like catching a burglary in action, the Camera Video Recorder never misses a moment. The perfect companion to our mydlink-enabled IP cameras, the Camera Video Recorder records easily to any USB hard drive to offer customers a complete home or small business surveillance solution.”
D-Link is selling the mydlink Camera Video Recorder now, with an MSRP of $99.99.
