ADT Pulse is one of the most popular security solutions available. Of course, popularity doesn’t excuse the company from bettering the system with a few upgrades. Apparently, ADT has a little something new for its customers, announcing the addition of video motion sensor technology.
Designed as an extra layer of security protection, the new option allows Pulse customers to schedule certain actions whenever motion is detected by indoor or outdoor security cameras. Customers can opt to receive video clips via email and text alerts, as well as save those snippets for up to 30 days in the ADT Pulse web portal.
Users can set the alerts around certain family members (kids!), package deliveries, the dog walker, and more.
“ADT’s product engineers performed extensive quality testing at our Innovation Lab to perfect the new motion detection feature,” said Tony Wells, chief marketing officer at ADT. “This superior technology ensures our customers have a reliable experience every time they use our system, and gives them greater power to control their homes remotely from any location, helping to more easily protect and connect to what matters most.”
ADT is making its new motion detection features available to all ADT Pulse customers with compatible cameras. To get more info and activate the feature on your account, just visit your Pulse web portal.
