Want to stream music from your Bluetooth device? Or maybe you’d like to dock and listen to music directly from your iPod, iPhone or iPad. Even your guitar is a music source when it’s connected to Nyne’s new NH-6800 floorstanding speaker.

Built inside the stylish rounded housing are dual woofers, dual tweeters and a subwoofer. But its best feature is the fact that it can play just about anything from just about any device. It connect wirelessly to the latest 4.0 Bluetooth devices from as far away as 33 feet. Its built-in Lightning dock, meanwhile, supports the newest generation of iDevices. Other MP3 players, tablets and phones can send audio to the NH-6800, too, through a 3.5mm stereo auxiliary input. An optional guitar control can be added so that the speaker can function as a guitar amp.

It also gives you a couple of control options: you can use the included handheld remote or tap at the integrated touchpanel on top of the unit. Old-school audio has a place on this speaker, too. There’s a built-in AM/FM radio and an alarm clock. The NH-6800, which was on display as a prototype at the Consumer Electronics Show, is expected to be commercially available later this year for around $1,200.
