Musicsoft Arts Debuts Audiophile Music Player for the iPad

The new app is designed to optimize audio playback for your speakers or headphones.

Audiophiles can be a finicky bunch. Despite the convenience and popularity of digital music formats, most audiophiles don’t really approve of them. A company named Musicsoft Arts is hoping to change that with an app called Audiophile Music Player.

Designed for the iPad, this app can optimize audio playback for your speakers or headphones. It even allows listeners to tweak the bass and volume levels.

It also has a little something called MaxxAudio technology by Waves. MaxxAudio acts as the app’s DSP engine, allowing real-time processing and control for the user. This little perk is available for free to try with your own music. However, unlimited use of MaxxAudio is offered via an in-app-purchase.

Other features include in-app playlists, gapless playback, support for AirPlay and Bluetooth, and the option to choose your own EQ (think 11 bands or 3?). It also provides access to mixing via DJCloud, sounds via SoundCloud, and Bander, a mobile music promotion platform for discovering and playing new music.

The Audiophile Music Player for iPad is available now as a free download via the iTunes App Store.
