There are Klipsch speakers in Dolby Atmos-enabled commercial cinemas all over the world. Now, the company wants you to be able to create some of that audio magic right in your living room.
The company just started shipping a trio of: Dolby Atmos-enabled Klipsch speakers. The new Reference Premiere lineup: was: specifically designed to bring Dolby Atmos to home theaters of all shapes and sizes.
What’s so great about having that? Dolby Atmos is a relatively new sound format that can: deliver sound from almost every angle—including above.
“Controlled directivity has been at the core of Klipsch acoustic design principals for nearly 70 years,” the company said in its announcement. “This makes Klipsch the ideal choice for Dolby Atmos enabled speakers.”
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the Reference Premiere includes proprietary 90:°x90:° Tractrix Horn technology, which allows the speakers to meet the directivity and sensitivity specifications needed for Dolby Atmos.
