Just because you want a killer sound system doesn’t necessary mean that you want it hogging up your precious floor space. For those times when the sound needs to be out of sight in more ways than one, consider getting in-wall speakers.
James Loudspeaker has created a great in-wall option, known as the 63SA-4 in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeaker. As part of the company’s Small Aperture lineup of architectural audio speakers, the 63SA-4 is a three-way speaker system that can fill the room with sound, all without filling it with clutter. It’s made of aircraft-grade aluminum and has a discreet, paintable 3-inch round or square grille.
Promising high-output levels, deep bass and wide dispersion into the listening area, this model is perfect for renovation and new construction projects. Measuring in at less than 4-inches deep, it has a special telescoping bracket system that makes installation easy and secure, even when irregularly spaced studs are involved.
Of course, the sound is really the most important feature, so James has packed these audio speakers with proprietary drivers. Each of the 63SA-4 audio speakers has a 6.5-inch aluminum woofer, a 2-inch midrange and 0.75-inch tweeter.
Designed for filling the room or the house with sound, these speakers also accept trim kits from premium lighting fixtures to provide another décor-matching option, as well as custom color-matched or wooden grilles.
“Our Small Aperture designs are a breakthrough in the whole-house audio industry, capable of audiophile-quality musicality and low frequencies below 40Hz all from a 3-inch opening—the 63SA-4 sets a performance standard for the architectural loudspeaker category,” explained Mark Schafle, president of James Loudspeaker. “With James Small Aperture products, our authorized integrators can deliver the no-compromise sound quality and discreet appearance sought after by their clients.”
James Loudspeaker is selling the Small Aperture 63SA-4 audio speakers now, priced at $1,500 each. Contact your local authorized James dealer for purchase information.
