CasaTunes is cranking up its collection of distributed home audio systems. The company recently announced four new products that will provide multiroom music. The CT-4+ System, the CT-8+ System, the CT-4S Streamer and the CT-8S Streamer are all available now.
Both of the distributed home audio systems are complete, with a server, streaming from services such as Pandora, Spotify, Grooveshark and SiriusXM, as well as an audio distribution switch, all under one chassis. The two streamers are for music fans wanting to add some of those streaming services into an existing setup. All four products are compatible with iTunes and/or Windows Media music and boast low power, a quiet operation, and a super-slick chassis. Other features include 1TB of internal storage, analog preamp stereo outputs and one digital optical output, as well as the option for up to 10 wired or wireless Apple AirPlay rooms. Each of the outputs also boast lossless CD quality.
CasaTunes’ CT-4+ distributed home audio systems feature five internal streaming music players and one external input for a tuner or other audio essential. It has four analog stereo outputs and one digital output. The CT-8+ bumps up those options to nine internal streaming players and two external inputs, eight analog outputs, and one digital output.
The CT-4S Streamer features a total of five internal players, four analog streams and one digital stream. The CT-8S has nine players, eight analog streams and one digital stream.
Powered by CasaTunes Air (the multiroom switch for Apple AirPlay ), CasaTunes can stream music from almost any app on one or more iOS devices to any room. It also makes it insanely easy to add to your audio setup, by just adding networked and wireless speakers, as needed.
“CasaTunes offers solutions for homes from as few as three wired rooms up to 24 wired rooms. All CasaTunes systems are expandable via CasaTunes’ built-in wireless capability adding up to 10 additional wireless speakers and devices,” said David Krinker, CEO of CasaTunes. “CasaTunes enables homeowners to not only switch between traditional music systems like CD players and tuners, but also Internet-based music and music stored on computers, tablets and smartphones.”
The CT-4+ and CT-4S are selling now, starting at $1,495. The CT-8+ and CT-8S are also available, with prices starting at $1,995.
