Whether it clashes with the decor or you just don’t have space to dedicate, sometimes you don’t want that sound system out on display. Thankfully, audio companies keep coming up with new ways to hide sound. There are in-wall speakers, planters, rocks and plenty of furniture options. Now, Bell’O Digital is looking to stuff a Bluetooth soundbar into a functional shelf.
The Bell’O Digital Surround Sound Shelf discretely hides a Bluetooth soundbar into a wooden shelf. Perfect for the home theater, office, bedroom or family room, this interesting option can make: beautiful music with an integrated Class-D amplifier and four speaker drivers.
We know that a lot of you would: probably be sort of upset if someone put something on top of your regular speakers. However, this one was made for holding books, photos and other knick-knacks.
Bell’O is known for making quality: A/V furniture, so you can bet that this dark espresso shelf is something that you wouldn’t mind adding into any room. And because there’s a Bluetooth soundbar inside, you don’t need to worry about cluttering up that space with wires. It’s easy to stream any audio from your smartphone, tablet or computer—as long as those devices: are on the same network as the speaker. Once connected, users can stream stored music, games, YouTube clips, music apps, Netflix selections, and much more.
Of course, wiring is an option, which you’ll need to do if you want to pair this shelf: with a TV (as pictured). To do that, each Digital Surround Sound Shelf has A/V inputs, a digital fiber optic connection, two 3.5mm inputs, and a subwoofer output. Other features include a Voice Boost function for enhancing dialogue, a Bass Boost option for adding depth to low-volume listening, and the ability: to use your existing TV remote.
Available in 40-, 50-, and 60-inch lengths, the Bell’O Digital Surround Sound Shelf ships with all of the necessary mounting hardware. All three options are selling now, with prices starting at $249.99.
