If you’re still clinging to (and buying) records, there’s a good chance that you have a few pieces of colored vinyl in that collection—and treat them as prized possessions. If you’re that frothing about colored records, imagine how cool it would be to have a turntable to match.
Audio-Technica is looking to put a little pop into your AV setup, with the AT-LP60 Fully Automatic Stereo Turntable System. For a while now, the AT-LP60 has been available in silver and black. Now, for a limited time, the company is making the same turntable in blue and red.
Why? Well… why not? You could probably use a splash of color in that boring, old audio setup.
Of course, each AT-LP60 isn’t just a pretty piece of plastic. This complete turntable and cartridge package can crank out all of your favorite vinyl. It’s also insanely easy to operate. Just push the play button and the turntable will do the rest.
The AT-LP60 features include a heavy-duty precision cast aluminum platter, a high-quality Dual Magnet stereo cartridge with a replaceable stylus, and a pickup arm with soft damping control. It even has a 33-1/3 and 45 RPM speed selector to accommodate everything from full-size LPs to 12- and 7-inch singles.
Another nice perk is that the AT-LP60 has a built-in switchable phono preamp, so it can be used with any AV receiver, speakers or other piece of AV equipment, even without a dedicated phono input. Other features include a removable dust cover, RCA output cables, and 3.5 mm-to-RCA adapter cables.
All four versions of the AT-LP60 Fully Automatic Stereo Turntable System are shipping now. However, the blue and red versions are an Amazon exclusive—and only for a limited time. The silver and black versions are priced at $119.95, with the limited edition red and blue finishes costing an extra $10 premium.
